Kona Grill Opens in Gilbert, Arizona

To Present at Oppenheimer Consumer Growth Conference in July |
Kona Grill, Inc. (NASDAQ: KONA), an American grill and sushi bar, is pleased to announce the opening of its Gilbert, AZ restaurant. The Company currently operates a total of 19 restaurants nationwide, with this newest location marking the Company's third Kona Grill in its home state.
The Gilbert restaurant is located in SanTan Village, a super-regional shopping center which debuted in the fall of 2007 in the heart of the city's retail corridor. More than 100 retailers have now opened in this multi-phase project, including Harkins Theatres, Dillard's, Banana Republic, Coach, White House/Black Market, lucy, and Ann Taylor. Restaurants include Brio, Cantina Laredo, Gordon Biersch and The Keg Steakhouse & Bar, among others. At its full build out, SanTan Village will encompass 3 million square feet of retail, restaurants, entertainment, office space, residential and hotel in an open-air streetscape environment.
"Since the first Kona Grill opened in Scottsdale in 1998, we have cultivated loyalty for our brand in the Arizona market. Gilbert is one of the fastest growing cities in America, and this restaurant will make dining at Kona Grill more accessible to guests who live and work in South East Metro-Phoenix," said Marcus E. Jundt, Chief Executive Officer and President of Kona Grill.
Kona Grill is open daily for lunch and dinner. Sunday through Thursday, the restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and until midnight on Friday and Saturday. The restaurant offers patrons two happy hours. Weekday Happy Hour is offered Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. A Reverse Happy Hour is also offered Monday through Saturday from 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. Both Happy Hours feature a selection of half-priced appetizers, pizzas and sushi rolls, plus a selection of drink specials.
Investor Conference
The Company will present at the Oppenheimer 8th Annual Consumer Growth Conference on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at The Four Seasons Hotel in Boston, MA. The presentation will begin at 3:30 PM Eastern Time.
