Luby's Opens New Restaurant in Houston, Texas

This is the fourth new Luby's restaurant opening in the past twelve months. |
The Company's new custom design was created by Chris and Harris Pappas who both joined the Luby's management team and Board of Directors in 2001. Prior to these new restaurant openings, Luby's had not built a restaurant in more than seven years.
"This is an exciting time for our guests and our organization to experience growth for our brand with the opening of another new Luby's restaurant," said Chris Pappas, President and CEO. "These new restaurants offer an upscale dining experience while still delivering Luby's traditional quality offerings with an abundance of healthy choices all at a great value to our customers."
These next generation Luby's restaurants enhance the customer experience through an upscale design and open floor plan. The restaurant's rustic exterior incorporates limestone, wood and stucco to create the appeal of the Texas Hill Country. The restaurant interior incorporates a more contemporary look and feel that includes granite surfaces, exposed wood ceilings, terrazzo floors and cherry wood walls. Flat screen televisions, attractive leather booths and a granite serving line elevate the guests' experience. A vaulted entrance guides customers through the center of the dining room engaging their senses with an energetic atmosphere of sights and sounds en route to the visually stunning display of fresh food.
