Sur La Table Enhances Cross Channel Success With CommercialWare Deployment

CommercialWare Products Deliver Improved Inventory Visibility, Reporting and Scalability |
CommercialWare, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of MICROS Systems, Inc. Sur La Table now benefits from new functionality, including improved reporting and scalability. Using both CommercialWare's CWDirect and CWCollaborate, Sur La Table improved and accelerated inventory visibility and its processes for drop-ship orders. In addition to improved coordination between the stores, Web site, and catalog call center, Sur La Table can now obtain reports and more easily access information including comprehensive order activity, trending views, and operational metrics.

Prior to deploying CommercialWare, new products introduced by Sur La Table were entered in multiple places in order to be accessed by each retail outlet. With the deployment of CWDirect, rolling out details of new products is simplified and streamlined. The CommercialWare solution also allows for improved scalability to support the continuing growth of both the direct and web commerce operations. In addition, Sur La Table is now able to view status and availability of third-party drop-ship items using CWCollaborate.
