ReServe Interactive releases version 9.0
|

Includes updates to Table Management and Catering products |
ReServe Interactive has released the latest upgrade to its comprehensive line of hospitality software products. The upgrades offered include additional functionality to its Reservation, Catering and Table Management products. The 9.0 release also incorporates an updated look including the company's new logo, as well as a softer color palette and graphics.
'Our software has always been on the forefront of technological offerings within the hospitality industry and we continually strive to maintain a leadership position by offering new and innovative functionality,' said Lynn Carter, the company's chief technology officer. 'Our new release offers more configurable features to easily tailor program applications to specific user needs.'
The software upgrades for Release 9.0 include:
Catering & Events
Automated equipment lists: In Catering and Event applications, ReServe now allows you to assign equipment lists for each food and beverage item to make event preparation more efficient and customary. For example, equipment items such as utensils, linens and serving equipment are assigned to each food or beverage item so that when a food or beverage is selected, the software will automatically add the associated equipment - including quantities - to the pack list.
Reservations & Table Management
ReServe paging capability: Using the Table Management feature of ReServe, users may now page guests automatically - using either JTECH or NTN type pagers. When a guest checks in at the reservation desk, a pager is assigned to their reservation and, when the table is ready, the user simply selects the 'Page' button in the system and the pager will automatically activate, notifying the guest of table availablity.
Automatic Wait Time Calculator: When checking in guests, ReServe now automatically calculates wait times, based on actual activity on the floor, and suggests the best table for seating. This is possible because of ReServe's dynamic reservation sheet technology, which not only tells the system when guests are coming in, but approximates how long they will be seated based on average historical data.
Multiple Servers Assignments: ReServe is the only software product that allows up to three servers to be assigned to large dining groups. This feature will help to more accurately reflect server availability, tip allocations and server performance.
Configure Wait Staff: The easy-to-use set-up feature is now even easier to use with table and station assignment and server assignment functionality. ReServe's easy-to-use setup templates - which eliminate the manual process of determining table, station and server assignments - is now more automated with a new copy-and-paste feature.
For all programs:
List configuration capability: Now, any screen that displays customer, event or reservation information - server ledgers, reservation lists, task lists, and appointments - can be easily custom-configured to hide or show relevant information as it pertains to the specific user.
Automated scheduled E-mails: It is now possible to schedule automatic e-mails to one or multiple contacts from the contact database. Whether the user wants to do a promotional mailing, send a thank you to followup an event, or simply send a dining reservation confirmation, the system can accommodate the user's needs. The user simply creates the email and specifies the date the email is to send, and ReServe does the rest.
New look: Release 9.0 introduces ReServe's new look including new softer color palletes and new icons. The user can choose from four different color palletes depending upon the season or his or her mood.
Home Page configurability: The Home Page may now be custom-configured for each user to show only the functionality in use and to put them in the most logical, efficient order on the screen. It also now conveniently displays "at a glance" to-do lists and upcoming appointments based on the user's profile.
