Lapland Hotels of Finland Selects MICROS for Next Generation Enterprise Solution

MICROS Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:MCRS) , a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, is pleased to announce that Lapland Hotels has selected myfidelio.net and the OPERA Enterprise Solution as its next generation technology solution for its 9 unique resort hotels in Finland. |
Lapland Hotels is utilizing the OPERA Property Management System, along with OPERA Reservation System (ORS) and myfidelio.net for its central and distribution services. Seamless next generation connectivity with the Global Distribution Systems (GDS) is provided through myfidelio.net's generic IQ code, and multiple direct connections to the Alternate Distribution Systems (ADS) are provided through myfidelio.net's switch provider. Direct and myfidelio.net distribution via http://www.laplandhotels.com/ is made possible using the OPERA Web Suite, which allows direct interaction between bookers on the Internet and Lapland Hotels' inventory and rates.
