CKE Restaurants Ups Executives' Salaries

CKE Restaurants Announces Salary Increases for Its Top 3 Executives |
CKE Restaurants, which operates Carl's Jr. and Hardee's fast food chains, said Wednesday it is raising the salaries of its top three executives.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company said it has increased President and Chief Executive Andrew Puzder's annual salary to $1 million from $925,000. The company said it will also grant Puzder a total of 300,000 restricted shares through 2010. Additionally, Puzder will receive 1.2 million additional shares through 2010 if certain performance figures are met.
CKE also said it has raised Chief Administrative Officer E. Michael Murphy's salary from $475,000 to $525,000, and hiked Chief Financial Officer Theodore Abajian's salary from $375,000 to $425,000.
