Pinstripes Breaks Ground On Flagship Bowling/Bocce/Bistro Location
|
 |
Unique Entertainment/Dining Venue Opening in Early 2007 |
Pinstripes, Inc., a distinctive bowling/bocce/bistro concept, held a groundbreaking ceremony today for the construction of its 45,000 sq. ft. indoor/outdoor entertainment and dining facility.
The company plans to redefine the entertainment and dining experience by offering communities an opportunity to celebrate 'sophisticated fun' in a unique facility that will include: 18 bowling lanes; 6 bocce courts; an Italian/American bistro and wine cellar; event/party rooms accommodating 20-250; and an outdoor patio and fireplace.
Its flagship location is in the Willow-Festival lifestyle shopping center under construction in Northbrook, Illinois, and Pinstripes will soon offer guests in the Chicago market an alternative form of entertainment and dining.
'We look forward to introducing a 'winning combination' of sophisticated fun to a wide spectrum of consumers, and we are very excited to be part of the many surrounding communities,' stated Dale Schwartz, founder/CEO. He added that Pinstripes evaluated many sites in other markets, and that 'the Village of Northbrook has been extraordinarily helpful with our development efforts.'
In anticipation of its grand opening in early 2007 and future expansion plans, Pinstripes has assembled a passionate and talented management team with significant restaurant and event/banquet experience that includes: Chris Soukup, general manager; Mark Grimes, executive chef; and Sandie Montgomery, event director. This seasoned team will apply their respective skills to Pinstripes' novel hybrid concept, and over the next several months will finalize the design of the facility, refine its menu and wine selections, recruit and train the requisite team, and pre-book events and parties for individuals and companies.
