Michael Pacini Named Vice President of Development for First Watch Restaurants

First Watch Restaurants, Inc., the nation's fastest growing daytime-only concept, has chosen real estate industry veteran Michael Pacini to serve as its vice president of development. |
Pacini joins the company at a time where plans call for accelerating new restaurant development to approximately 25 openings per year and expanding into new markets including Chicago and Washington, DC.
Prior to joining First Watch, Pacini served as principal of Sunrise Development, an Orlando, Fla.-based consulting firm dedicated to facilitating the national expansion of numerous retail and restaurant concepts including First Watch, Baja Fresh Mexican Grill, Red Brick Pizza, and Quizno's.
At First Watch, Pacini will be responsible for conducting strategic market planning, site selection and lease negotiations as well as overseeing the construction and facilities functions for the company.
Before launching Sunrise, Pacini was the senior vice president of development for Fleetwood Retail in Houston. Prior to that he was a partner with a central Florida Denny's franchisee and served as the national director of franchise real estate for Kenny Rogers Roasters. Pacini's career also included a four-year tenure with CentreCorp. in Orlando, Fla., where he managed the leasing program for more than one million square feet of newly constructed shopping centers.
"Michael's experience on both the landlord and tenant sides of commercial real estate has served First Watch well," said First Watch President and CEO Ken Pendery. "We're delighted to have him working with us full time."
Pacini holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from West Virginia University in Morgantown, W. Va. He is active in the International Council of Shopping Centers and the National Association of Real Estate Executives (CoreNet).
First Watch Restaurants specializes in daytime dining with unique breakfast, brunch and lunch creations freshly prepared to order. Based in Bradenton, Fla., the company currently has more than 60 restaurants in Florida, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Arizona, Oklahoma, and West Virginia and employs more than 1,400.
