Top100 Ranked U.S. Chinese Restaurants Announced during All Asia Food Expo |

Recognition Received for 100 Local, Regional and National Favorites
Chinese Restaurant News official list of The Top 100 Chinese Restaurants for 2004 has been announced at a press conference cosponsored with the All Asia Food Expo at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
Winners from various categories in a total of 29 states and the District of Columbia were included in the listings. Nationwide chains such as Panda Express, China Buffet, and P.F. Changs were included on the roll as well as Alabamas Hunan Garden, Utahs China Lily Restaurant and New York Citys Grand Sichuan Restaurant on 9th Avenue.
The list truly celebrates how Americans all over enjoy Chinese food, as well as how each region mixes local tastes and ingredients with traditional Chinese fare, commented Betty Xie, Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Restaurant News. Louisianas Trey Yuen offers Sweet and Sour Alligator, while the Peking Gourmet Inn grows their own vegetables. Asian Fusions Joseph Poon teaches cooking classes to his followers, and Chef Chus Larry Chu hosts a gala Chinese New Years celebration for the San Francisco Bay area.
