Main Street Announces Vice President of Marketing |

Announced that, as part of its ongoing efforts to improve its competitive standing, it has hired William D. Jacoby III as vice president of marketing.
"We are extremely pleased to have found Mr. Jacoby. His marketing expertise and industry experience will go a long way in helping Main Street to increase sales and ensure that we accomplish a key component of our core business objective which is to deliver the highest quality guest experience," said Bill Shrader, president and chief executive officer.
Jacoby's background includes more than 12 years of experience in marketing with a proven track record in consumer and corporate marketing. Most recently he held the position of director, consumer marketing with Best Western International where he was responsible for all consumer marketing programs, promotions and advertising. During his seven-year tenure at Best Western he also held the position of director, strategic planning, overseeing all strategic brand and marketing research.
Prior to joining Best Western, Jacoby was an account executive with Marsh & McLennan where he marketed and provided consulting services to multinational, Fortune 500 corporations. Jacoby holds an MBA cum laude from the American Graduate School of International Management and a BS in business administration from the University of Arizona.
Effective immediately, Jacoby will be responsible for leading the marketing department and all marketing programs associated with Friday's, The Bamboo Club, Redfish and Cooper'stown. This will entail such areas as marketing strategy and research, plan development and communication, in-store advertising, media execution, and sales initiatives.
Main Street Restaurant Group Inc. is the world's largest franchisee of T.G.I. Friday's restaurants, operating 53 T.G.I. Friday's, 12 Bamboo Club - Asian Bistros, four Redfish Seafood Grill and Bars, and one Cooper'stown restaurants.
