HSMAI's Third Annual World Quest Connects Meeting Professionals With International Business Partners - Unique Learning Event Returns with Five-City Line-Up July 24-August 4, 2006
The unique aspects and nuances of international meeting planning will drive the agenda at the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International's (HSMAI) third annual World Quest when it returns this summer for a five-city tour. Last year's HSMAI World Quest was a resounding success with more than 25 business partners and over 250 planners taking part in three events.
One of the world's most unique international educational events, HSMAI's World Quest connects meeting professionals with the international business partners they conduct business with through a specialized format designed for intensive education and learning. Attendees will find a wealth of information, including new business strategies, best practices and provocative presentations of hot topics important to the arena of international meetings, followed by interactive roundtable topic discussions with planners and international business partners.
'The debut event in 2004 successfully filled a void in the marketplace of international meeting planning,' states Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHA, president and CEO of HSMAI. 'We intend to take the program one step further this year by expanding the forum into additional markets.'
Opening the door to education and networking, HSMAI's World Quest, a partnership between HSMAI and Association Management Group and its division, Meetings Management Group, unites qualified corporate, association and government international planners together with international hospitality industry business partners for a day of learning, interactive roundtable discussions and networking.
These programs are focused on the needs of international meeting professionals who plan meetings outside the continental U.S. World Quest is not a trade show, but rather a learning experience through thought-provoking presentations of hot topics important to the arena of international meetings. Attendees will also have the chance to win exciting prizes during the event.
This year's World Quest Events will be held:
• July 24, 2006 - New York, NY at the Grand Hyatt Hotel
• July 27, 2006 - Washington, DC at the Westin Arlington Gateway Hotel
• July 28, 2006 - Chicago, IL at the Allerton Crowne Plaza
• July 31, 2006 - San Francisco, CA at the Crowne Plaza Union Square
• August 4, 2006 - Seattle, WA at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel |
