|
Date: |
13 - 14 June 2006 |
Venue: |
Puerto Rico Convention Center |
Location: |
San Juan Puerto Rico |
Details: |
Caribbean Gaming & Hospitality Conference 2006 will take place at the new Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan, June 13-14. The two-day program will feature more seminars and more new seminar topics, including disaster management planning and implementation, the business recovery plan, and new technologies for tracking and developing key customer relationships. Other seminar tracks will examine regulatory issues, security and surveillance, slot management, and hospitality as entertainment.
'What makes CGHC unique,' explains Smith, 'is our focus on the intertwining of gaming with hospitality, a synergy that exists in the Caribbean market more than anywhere else. The winners are those businesses that can successfully integrate one with the other.'
In addition to the morning conference program, Caribbean Gaming & Hospitality Conference 2006 will reserve afternoon hours for product display and business exchange in the Exhibit Hall, now in an expanded, spacious convention center facility. Networking opportunities are available throughout the program, including refreshment and lunch breaks. All sessions will feature simultaneous English-Spanish translation.
'We know that our attendees have limited time for conferences,' said Smith, 'so we're in San Juan, which is easy to get to-and our program is only two days long. Now with our move to the new convention center, we also have a world-class facility for classroom and exhibit space.
We're definitely looking forward to our best conference yet in 2006.'
This past June, Caribbean Gaming & Hospitality Conference signed a five-year contract with the Puerto Rico Convention Center. At that time, Smith predicted that the new facility will attract more than 10,000 attendees through 2010.
Conference hotels at or near the Puerto Rico Convention Center include the Condado Plaza Hotel & Casino, Diamond Palace Hotel & Casino, and the Radisson Ambassador Plaza Hotel & Casino. Shuttle bus service will be available in the morning and for the evening return.
Caribbean Gaming & Hospitality Conference is supported by its long-time sponsors, many of which have been with the show from the beginning.
'They are loyal and a key part of our success,' said Smith. 'Our sponsors make it possible for us to come together for a serious business exchange for the benefit of all.'
Confirmed sponsors to date of Caribbean Gaming & Hospitality Conference 2006 include Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. (Platinum); A.C. Coin & Slot and UNIDESA Gaming & Systems (Gold); Ainsworth Game Technology and Puerto Rico Tourism Company (Silver); Bally Technologies, Inc, Konami Gaming, and Reel Games (Bronze); and Casino Enterprise Management, Casino International, Gaming Laboratories International, Global Gaming Business, Media Grabbers, and Yogonet.com (Media and Event Sponsors).
CGHC is the only industry event of its kind exclusively for the Caribbean and Latin American market. |
