Dozens of Seminars Offered by Industry Experts on Hot Topics in the Food and Restaurant Business
The New York State Restaurant Association will sponsor a dynamic conference program that will focus on strategies for building business, providing exceptional service and capitalizing on trends in today's highly competitive restaurant market during the upcoming 11th annual International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York. Hot topic areas will include:
*Sales: Building sales; Profitable financial skills; Tips to increasing cash flow; and Improving the bottom line through a focus on IAT (Individual Average Transaction).
*Service and Public Relations: Cooking up exceptional service; Developing a winning team; Perfecting guest services; Writing for the food industry; and Great public relations.
*Industry Trends for 2004: Culinary educational trends; and NYC Health Department inspection preparation.

In addition, during the show, The New York State Restaurant Association Educational Foundation TY Awards Dinner will be held on Monday, March 15, 2004 at the Marriott Marquis. This year's honoree the Food Network is being honored for its dedication to attracting youth to careers in the field of hospitality and increasing the prestige of the industry. Past recipients include Julia Child, Danny Meyer of Union Square Hospitality Group, Drew Neirporent of Myriad Restaurant Group, H.
